Build a Power Tool Organizer in under an hour

I am still trying to get the shop organized and like my wife says for every tool I buy that means another cabinet or workbench to store it. I notoriously leave my tools laying around the shop, mainly because I don’t really have a place to store them. In an effort to get the garage organized, and eventually give my wife back her parking spot I built this power tool organizer.

So there are no plans for this build. As with most projects I make it up as I build. I did model it after one of the many designs available online. I did include a pencil sharpener to so I have easy access to one in the shop.

This is a pretty straight forward build and dimensions are really up to whatever tools you use. Most cordless power tools about the same size. But for mine each slot averages around 3″. This build was made from a single 8 foot 1×10 pine board.

My tools that I am storing are below.
