This one's a shop tool I built for myself first — a jig you print at home to cut ornament string without measuring it out one piece at a time. You wrap the string around it about twenty to thirty times, and the slots on the side let you take a razor blade or a pair of scissors straight through for a clean fourteen-inch length every time. One wind gets you enough string for twenty to thirty ornaments, so it saves a good bit of time if you're batching out a run.
It's an STL file, so it'll work on just about any home 3D printer. Roughly eight inches by three inches by two inches tall.
This one's free — just download it, print it, and let me know if you have any questions getting it set up. See Youtube video example for use. https://youtu.be/xs7QTqts4K8?si=PfU4PLKtbz4lQ3qD&t=261
